We will often face situations in our lives that exceed our ability to adapt.
Events such as a breakup, financial disaster, family conflicts, an illness, can disorganize us.
Such changes in our lives that disrupt our daily lives can lead to feelings of insecurity and anxiety.
If, with proper discernment, we do not try to identify the real causes in these situations and instead take the easy way out by justifying -rather than addressing- certain possible causes, then the decisions we make will be superficial, incomplete, and more likely to be incorrect.
The excuse functions as an argument or pretext for explaining mistakes, omissions or even avoiding responsibilities, trying to get rid of them.
It is used to justify a refusal or failure, but it often blocks personal development, keeping us from achieving our goals.
People always justify situations, events, behaviors looking for a quick solution to avoid their own consequences from them… but is it the truth?
To adapt positively to the significant changes that occur in our lives, we must find the real causes and not hide behind excuses.
By finding the real causes, we will be able to effectively manage stressful events and situations, we will have the ability to face changes and see them as an opportunity for learning and personal development.
By honestly understanding and without justifying ourselves, why we have gained some extra pounds (e.g. we ate unhealthy foods, we ate large quantities to the point of saturation, we did not say “no” to any sweet treat they offered us), we will be able to manage it and make the right decision to start a balanced diet program to reduce our weight to the naturally desired level, that is, to create better health conditions in our lives.
Man’s greatest enemy is himself, it is our ego.
Overcoming ourselves to defeat our greatest enemy, our ego, is not easy.
Let’s start by stopping the excuses and finding the truth.
Truth reflects reality, frees from the slavery of lies, reveals things as they happen, constitutes the living element of life often associated with spiritual freedom and essential knowledge.
